The one with all the presents...

So I am failing at my blogging updates, the three I had hoped to write a week will probably just be one or two at the most. Now a little bit about the Christmas/New Year’s holiday, it was pretty damn awesome, I must say. It started by me going to visit the fam in Lufkin, it was a good trip, good to see my fam all in the same house, but I was excited to get home. I have a new addition to my apartment, my big fat cat Smegal! I hauled him back from Lufkin with me, I figured he would adjust well to apartment life since his favorite thing to do is eat and sleep. So after I got back I had a full week off from work for vacation to relax and attempt to get some things done, finish putting up stuff that had yet to find a place in my new apartment, cleaning, taking the tree down, etc. The only thing I got done was sleeping until 10 everyday, I’d say it was pretty productive. So me and my boyfriend had our Christmas planned for New Year’s Eve since I was in Texas and he was here with his family, and yes I had the self control to sit and stare at presents for me for an entire extra week after Christmas, that’s some serious willpower people. Anyways, we didn’t make it to New Year’s Eve because one of the presents had to be opened sooner than that because it was a trip to New Orleans for the New Year’s weekend!!!! I was so excited, I hadn’t been to NOLA since I was 9 on a family vacation, so I basically hadn’t been to the real NOLA, Bourbon, bars, beads, etc… We drove down on New Year’s Eve went out on Bourbon, did a Vampire Tour, and finished the night out in Jackson Square for the ball drop. It really was so much fun, I didn’t even have a hangover on the first day of the new year which was awesome, however I did have one on the second day of the year still not too bad. I really do have a wonderful boyfriend, he gave me the trip, a diamond necklace, a jewelry box, and an Otter Box for my iPhone 4. Even though I'm completely crazy and sometimes a little....ok a lot difficult and have my bitch side he loves me still. Although he's not perfect either, he's a man for god sake and we all know they are inferior creatures to women ;).

So now I am back at work to my regular schedule ready to start a new and exciting year! I can't wait to see what exciting new changes and adventures it brings...
